Recent News & Tentative Schedule

July 25, 2010

Aloha Everyone,

We are in the final process of relocating to a new training area.   We should be ready to go by October with our first live fire class.  To everyone who have patiently waited for that day, we say mahalo for your understanding.

At the end of April we did a one day Urban Rifle class on Kauai, with a second day set aside for the Utah CWP class.  Both classes had excellent responses.  Class was held at a beautiful private range and we experienced wonderful Hawaiian Hospitality of the Kauai Shooters and our host Jason Bryant.

The recent July article in the Honolulu Star Newspaper on the excellent value of a Utah Weapon Permit has promoted a good interest in our classes.  We had an excellent turn out on the Big Island in Kealakekua will 15 students participating in a class a few days after the article appeared.

At this end of this month, we head back to Kauai for a 2 day intermediate level defensive handgun class the “Framework”.  Class is filled to capacity.  Yes we love going to Kauai and training with their talented and skilled shooters.

August 2010

Koa Services Inc. will be taking August off from any training classes except for private contract work.  Instructor Joe will be in Arizona spending time with his new grand-daughter and doing some training with Chuck Taylor.  I will be training with my Hawaiian group for three weekends.

September 2010

We shall be involve in private contracts this month.  I shall also be gone to Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. For 2 weeks of security training.  Maybe we can squeeze in a Utah CWP class on an open date.
